米国 – シーザーズは中国人顧客に WeChat で支払う機会を提供

By -11年2017月XNUMX日

Caesars Entertainment has become the first operator on the Las Vegas Strip to allow Chinese players to pay using one of their nation’s leading mobile payment apps.

Caesars is offering Chinese players the opportunity to use WeChat Pay, a Chinese digital wallet similar to Apple Pay, to buy food, show tickets or souvenirs at 16 point of sale locations inside Caesars Palace, The Linq Promenade and Paris Las Vegas.

Bruce Bommarito, corporate vice president of international marketing for Caesars Entertainment, said: “We want to do this for our Chinese customers to make them feel at home. We have been working hard on the Chinese market for some time.”

WeChat Pay allows customers to buy items by having a barcode or QR code on their smart phone scanned by a cashier.

Caesars will roll out the Chinese digital payment service to more point of sale locations in its Las Vegas casinos before the end of the year.

Almost 207,000 Chinese tourists came to Las Vegas in 2015, representing growth of 9.6 per cent compared with the year earlier. Caesars is the only operator out of Las Vegas’ big four not to have a casino in the Chinese gambling hub of Macau.
